Tamborine Community Church was established in October 1993 and is affiliated with C.L.C.I. - Christian Life Churches International
Music is integral to our church and our worship reflects this through contemporary lively, spiritually inspired songs, many of which have been written by church member, Greg Joyce. This refreshing style of worship is delivered through a music team that includes 6 and 12 stringed guitars; bass guitar; fiddle; saxophone; mandolin; tin whistle and a number of great vocalists. Current church membership stands at approximately 120, with an average age of 40. Although this reflects a family orientated demographic, there are also many others who attend occasionally to access counselling and support services available within the church. As well as formal counselling and welfare services, our fellowship is widely recognised as a healing environment for those who have suffered.

Kings Kids is a children's program aimed at reaching out with creative methods to communicate the Grace and love of God to the young. Our goal is for each child to know how special, valued and important they are. At Tamborine Community Church. Children & Youth are a big part of the Church family. We believe that church should provide a safe, caring, and fun environment. A place where kids know they are loved and valued, and can't wait to return. God loves the little children, and it is our purpose to convey that to your children. Each week is filled with lots of interactive learning, where the kids enjoy being together, and enjoy learning about God’s Good News. We’d love for your family to come and join with us at 10am worship service

The kingdom of God is here, dynamically moving into our world and inviting all to enter a revolutionary way of life that holds the only hope for His dying creation. In this world-changing culture, justice, peace and celebration thrive, restoration and healing abound, reconciliation with God overflows, and all live under God’s care and His compassionate rule. We enter this kingdom by turning from our rebellion, our sin that separates us from the Life of God, and entrusting our hearts to His Son Jesus Christ. With this decision of mind, will and emotions, we experience the birth of personal relationships with Him, new lives where the Holy Spirit intently crafts Jesus’ character within us through our intimate connections not only with God but also with others. Through us, His people, God makes known His redeeming gift, the life-giving grace offered through Jesus’ death on the cross. For hand in hand with the decision to follow Christ come the keys to the kingdom of God, the invitations for people like us, lost and broken and searching for Him, to come into this new, radical community of our benevolent yet almighty God. God calls us, Tamborine Community Church, to be a new community that reveals God and His kingdom in the world by loving people into responsive and maturing relationships with Jesus Christ. When we answer this call, we embrace the G.R.A.C.E. values–God-Centred, Reaching Others, Authentic Relationships, Changing Lives, and Empowered to Serve and Give. These values together, never in isolation, intrinsically express the core, the heart of God’s kingdom purposes when we live them out as individuals and as His people. Together we focus not on the fulfilment of these values but rather on an unswerving walk with our God. For as we live lives intertwined with Him, fixed on His desires, responsive to His call, Jesus’ character fills our very beings, and the values supernaturally flow from our lives, saturating our thoughts, words and actions. The Spirit’s transforming power enables us to love people in ways that draw them into relationship with Jesus, connect them in community with other Christians, then launch them into God’s kingdom revolution. |
